The art of simple cooking will be taught in both English and Spanish. Using a hands-on approach, children will be taught to make simple recipes with healthy and sweet ingredients.

They will learn to make a healthy banana split, edible dirt, smoothies, chewy cookies, cream bars, strawberry parfaits and teddy bear beach cups.

The cooking club runs on Mondays, 3:30-4:30 p.m. through Aug. 8.
