HACKENSACK, N.J. – The City of Hackensack Summer of Entertainment will present a free performance of Shakespeare in the Park: “Edward III” from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Wednesday at the New Atlantic Street Park in Hackensack.
“Edward III” tells the story of the king who claimed rightful ownership to the French throne as the son of Isabel, the only surviving child of the French King Philip IV; an uprising of Scots in England; and a war in France to claim the throne.
Attendees should bring a chair or blanket for seating.
The New Atlantic Street Park is at Warren and Atlantic streets in Hackensack.
