HACKENSACK, N.J. – Due to the impending weather calling for a winter storm this weekend, the NJ Camp Fair slated for Saturday at Simon’s The Shops at Riverside has been rescheduled to Saturday, Jan. 30.
This one-day event will be from noon to 3 p.m. on retail level one near Barnes & Noble. Local families will find information about a multitude of summer recreational offerings for children as representatives from more than 20 area camps will be on hand to provide information about various programs and facilities. With a wide variety of available choices, families can find the perfect camp that suits their child. Opportunities include day, overnight, special interest, special needs and more.
“This is a great opportunity for parents and children to meet with experienced program directors one-on-one to explore and better understand which camp would meet their interests,” said Lisa Polino, director of marketing and business development for The Shops at Riverside. “The NJ Camp Fair allows families to get a jump start on summer plans and ensure a spot at one of the available programs.”
The NJ Camp Fair is organized by Sensational Summers, a local family-owned business that has been operating summer camp fairs for more than 25 years. At the event, brochures and DVDs will be available and guests will be treated to free giveaways and door prizes.
