The event is hosted by Eastwick College's new culinary arts program. Students in the program will be making and serving food for the event. There is also a cash bar.
The Hackensack Creative Arts Team (CAT) organized the event. CAT is comprised of volunteers who look for new ways to promote the arts in Hackensack as part of the city's downtown revitalization plans.
"Hackensack is bringing a wide variety of art forms to its downtown," said Ryan Huban, founder of "Howdy Stranger" and a CAT member. "Combining improv comedy with the culinary arts is a perfect example."
"I hope this event can help draw more attention to the grassroots arts initiatives happening in Hackensack," Huban added.
Tickets for the event ar $20. The show begins at 8 p.m.
The Oak Banquet Hall is located at 250 Moore Street in Hackensack.
