HACKENSACK, N.J. -- HackensackUMC's Children's Cancer Institute celebrated its high school graduates with a special guest New York Giants linebacker Mark Herzlich -- who has now been cancer-free for nearly seven years -- on May 12.
Herzlich spoke to the audience of high school graduates who are past or current patients of the Children's Cancer Institute. The ceremony also featured co-director of the Cancer Institute Dr. Michael Harris; Superintendent of Maywood School District Michael Jordan; John Bivona, who's the parent of a patient; and chief of Child Life Ellen Goldring.
Patient Joshua Randman also presented a special 2016 graduates message.
