Celebrate Asian American, Pacific Islander Heritage Month In Hackensack

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- A ceremony marking Asian American and Pacific Islander Month takes place Thursday at the Bergen County Administration Building in Hackensack.

The Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage celebration in Hackensack in 2014. The 2016 event is on May 26.

“Walk Together, Embrace Differences, Build Legacies” celebrates the achievements and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and Native Hawaiians in Bergen County.

A ceremony takes place at 5:30 p.m.

The event is sponsored by Bergen County Executive James J. Tedesco III; the Board of Chosen Freeholders; and the Asian American Advisory Committee.

The Bergen County Administration Building is located at One Bergen County Plaza.
