Volunteers Rebuild Hackensack Homes Impacted By Superstorm Sandy

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County will host a team of volunteers on its Sandy Restoration job site in Hackensack on Tuesday, Dec. 1 as part of Giving Tuesday.

Volunteers will continue a tradition started in 2013 to help repair, rebuild and restore homes destroyed by Hurricane Sandy.

Since the program began, Habitat Bergen has completed 58 critical home repairs.

The home being restored this year is located at 233 Jackson Ave.
