"We’re like a family, [our customers] are our extended family," said Sharen Sullivan, the owner of Lulu's Deli.
The family operating the deli have worked in other towns before but they hold Ridgefield Park in high regard.

"The people in this town are great, they come together like no one I’ve seen," Sullivan said.
Lulu's has such appreciation for their customers that they're hosting a customer appreciation day, offering free samples and holding contests for potential free lunches in the future.
Sullivan had previously worked in other towns but said the transactions were very quick and to the point. In Ridgefield Park, friendly neighbors take the time to chat.
Lulu's plans to hold fundraisers in the town for the PKD Foundation and Theresa Labarck Donation Fund in March of this year. Sharen Sullivan's son, TJ Sullivan, who also works in the deli, has previously spearheaded efforts in Bergen to raise funds for the causes.
Lulu's is located at 225 Main St, Ridgefield Park, NJ. Their customer appreciation day is planned for Friday, Jan. 26.
