HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The Alementary Brewery in Hackensack celebrated its grand opening on April 16 and April 17.

Co-Owners Michael Roosevelt and Blake Crawford poured approximately 8.5 barrels, or 250 gallons of beer between the two days.

Since 2010, 43-year-old Crawford and 38-year-old Roosevelt have been recognized for their award-winning brews — including "Best Cider" at the New Jersey State Fair.

The two were also presented with commendations from the Bergen County Board of Freeholders and the County Executive.
